In the Tula region, the volume of exports exceeded $ 3 billion

Today, on April 22, in the Tula Region, Governor Alexei Dyumin held a working meeting with Director General of the Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina, Vice President of EXIAR JSC Maxim Kobin, Director General of the REC Export School Alicia Nikitina.

The head of the region noted that the volume of exports in the Tula region at the end of 2020 exceeded $ 3 billion. Industrial production increased by 12.4%, and the agro-industrial complex by almost 9%. In addition to the traditional directions of export – metallurgy, chemistry, engineering products – the export of food products, agricultural goods, as well as services, including tourism, is growing.

“The government of the Tula region and REC have developed close relations to expand the geography of export deliveries of Tula producers, increase the volume of their supplies, and build new partnerships”, – noted the governor of the Tula region.

Last year, almost 100 Tula companies used REC services.

We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” reported that the Tula region became one of the leaders in the country in terms of the industrial production index. The region ranks 2nd in the Central Federal District and 5th in the country. The volume of shipments in manufacturing at the end of 2020 amounted to 884.2 billion rubles.
