The Kimovsky City Court of the Tula Region has considered a criminal case on charges of fraud against Ermatov.

The court established that the police officer “Epifansky” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation “Kimovsky” Ermatov was in the performance of his official duties. To check the message about the incident received by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Kimovskiy”, he arrived at the house on the street. Lermontov in the city of Kimovsk, Tula region. There the defendant met a foreign citizen and decided to check his documents. Seeing that the period of temporary stay on the territory of Russia had expired, Ermatov suggested that the foreigner “turn around” the deal: he lets the migrant go, and he in return transfers him 2,500 rubles.

The victim agreed to the major’s proposal.

By a court verdict, Ermatov was found guilty. He was sentenced to a fine of 145 thousand rubles with the deprivation of the right to hold positions in law enforcement agencies related to the exercise of the functions of a representative of the authorities, for a period of two years.

In addition, the man was stripped of his rank – police major.

The verdict has not entered into legal force and can be appealed.
