In the Kaluga region, the industry has been named whose employees receive the highest salaries. The salary rating for all Russian regions was presented to RIA-Novosti on Monday, March 22.
It is noted that the 2020 pandemic had a serious impact on the labor market in Russian regions. In 2019, nominal wages rose by 6.7% on average across the country. At the same time, according to the statements of experts, in absolute terms, the difference in salaries is significantly greater than in dynamics. Average salaries in Russian regions differ by 4 times, and in the sectoral context, the differences are even higher. Therefore, largely due to the specifics of the economy in different regions, the structure of employment can vary significantly.
In the Kaluga region, according to research in 2020, employees of the motor vehicle industry received the highest income. The average salary in this industry was 62 thousand rubles a month.
As you know, a large auto cluster operates in the Kaluga region, which includes three world auto giants: Volkswagen Group Rus, Groupe PSA and Mitsubishi Motors (PSMA rus plant), as well as Volvo Cars.
The highest salaries in Russia are paid to Sakhalin oil workers – their average salary is 380 thousand rubles a month.
