In the Chelyabinsk region, a criminal case was opened after a snow block fell from the roof of a house on a 45-year-old woman in the city of Minyar. This was reported on March 20 by the press service of the RF IC for the region.

The victim is now in a hospital in serious condition. She has an open head injury and a fracture of the base of the skull.

Based on the materials of the prosecutor’s check, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the provision of services that did not meet the requirements of life and health (paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code).

Also, the journalists found out that the victim is disabled, she alone brings up the child whom she took from the orphanage.

Earlier, on March 12, a resident of Ufa was hospitalized after snow fell on her from the roof of the Ufa Institute of Arts. The 61-year-old woman was immediately taken to the hospital for examination.
