The Zadneprovsky District Court of the city of Smolensk sentenced 13 residents of the city for violation of the mask regime. All offenders were in public places without any personal protective equipment.
“Being in those places without personal protective equipment for the respiratory organs, citizens, thereby, did not follow the rules of conduct when introducing a high alert regime in the territory where there is a threat of an emergency,” the court said.
Each of the 13 residents of Smolensk violated the rules again, which led to the imposition of fines. Taking into account mitigating circumstances in the form of a full admission of guilt, the court will impose a fine at the minimum sanction limit. Each of the violators will have to pay 7.5 thousand rubles.
