The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case into the incident that occurred between two schoolchildren in Samara. So, during a quarrel, one of the students stabbed his classmate with a knife. This was announced on Tuesday, March 16, at the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Samara Region.
“Currently, the Soviet Interdistrict Investigation Department of the city of Samara of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Samara Region has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence). All the circumstances of the incident and the reasons that preceded it are being clarified, ”the statement says.
According to the data provided, the incident occurred on Tuesday in one of the schools in the Oktyabrsky district of Samara. During a school break, a conflict arose between two 11-year-old students, during which one of them stabbed the other with a knife in the shoulder blade area.
The statement also says that the first deputy head of the investigation department, investigators and criminologists arrived at the scene. The work is coordinated by Valery Samodaikin, head of the Investigation Department of the ICR in the Samara Region.
The department noted that at the moment work is underway to clarify all the circumstances and causes of the incident.
“In the course of the investigation of the criminal case, a procedural assessment will be given to the actions of the officials of the educational institution who allowed the specified conflict at the school,” the press service added.
Earlier in February, it became known that in Yakutia, a high school student hit a teacher, after which she was hospitalized. In January, in the village of Yekaterinovka, Saratov Region, the headmaster of school No. 2 was punished, whose students started a fight. One of the teenagers was injured. In March 2020, a 13-year-old schoolboy stabbed a peer in the Altai Republic.
