The Ministry of Labor of Russia said that the allowance for pregnant women will be paid every month from the moment of registration with a medical organization until the birth of a child. To receive such a payment, you will need to contact the Pension Fund of Russia by submitting an application on the State Services portal.
In this case, the allowance will be assigned only if the average per capita family income is less than the subsistence level per person. The benefit itself will make up half of the regional subsistence minimum for an able-bodied citizen. On average in Russia it is about 6,350 rubles.
At the same time, more than 700 thousand expectant mothers registered in early pregnancy will receive additional support.
Earlier, during the message of President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly, new measures to support families with children were announced. In particular, the Russian leader ordered to pay 6 thousand 350 rubles a month to pregnant women who found themselves in a difficult financial situation.
