In the fall of 2021, the Neuronchik educational project will begin its work in Russia to train kindergarten and elementary school children in the basics of robotics, neurotechnology and programming. This was announced on Friday, April 23, by TASS with reference to the press service of the National Technology Initiative Platform.

The project involves the introduction of additional education programs in preschool educational institutions, as well as in primary school.

“The goal of the project is the formation and development of digital technology skills in children aged 5-10 years. The first classes on digital technologies will be held this fall in educational institutions of a number of regions, ”the statement says.

At this stage, such an opportunity will appear for children from Moscow, Kaluga, Tomsk, Sverdlovsk, Kaliningrad regions, Yakutia and Bashkortostan.

The project is aimed at early career guidance of children in the field of digital specialties.

Younger students of additional classes will be able to apply their knowledge at special tournaments, including international competitions. For teachers of schools and kindergartens, free training will be organized, and educational institutions themselves will be able to obtain the status of a resource center for the project.

The results of the poll of the Rabota.ru service, the results of which became known on April 14, are considered by the Russians to be the most promising for building a career in the high-tech industry; they also see great opportunities in robotics and artificial intelligence.
