In the Murmansk region, investigating authorities opened a criminal case after stray dogs attacked a child. This was reported on Monday, May 3, on the website of the regional investigation department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of the provision of services that did not meet the requirements of the safety of life or health of consumers, as a result of which a dog attacked a child, that is, on the basis of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
So, on the eve, near the house 24 on Festivalnaya Street in Murmansk, two dogs without chips attacked a girl born in 2012.
The victim was hospitalized: more than a hundred bites were recorded on the child’s body, face and limbs.
Investigators seized the girl’s clothes, recordings from CCTV cameras, interrogations of witnesses are also being conducted and all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
On April 30, it was reported that an 11-year-old boy was bitten by dogs in Tatarstan, and he was hospitalized. Then, on the fact of the incident, a criminal case was also opened.
