The traffic police officers of the OGIBDD MO Volzhsky of the Mari El Republic detained a driver who grossly violated the traffic rules.
This case, thanks to the available video recording, has already received wide publicity. A traffic police outfit was on duty at night on the streets of Volzhsk. On Prokhorov Street, the police noticed a car with a damaged bumper. They demanded the driver to stop, but he gave the gas.
The persecution continued for a long time. The driver drove the car out of town, violating all possible traffic rules and even trying to force the patrol car out of the road.
After leaving the city, the traffic police decided to shoot at the wheels. After being hit, the intruder’s car slowed down. One of the police officers ran up to her, smashed the front passenger glass and pulled out the key from the ignition.
The driver, judging by his appearance, was drunk. He refused to be examined. Later it turned out that the 36-year-old Volzhan had already been brought to administrative responsibility for a similar offense and was deprived of the right to drive a vehicle for 20 months.
In relation to him, several protocols were drawn up on administrative offenses under Articles 12.7 and 12.25 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
