The Governor of the Kemerovo Region, Sergey Tsivilev, lifted the ban on travel outside the region on August 13 only for a good reason due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection.

“The amendments exclude clause 2, which prohibited travel outside Kuzbass without good reason,” the regional headquarters told RIA Novosti.

At the same time, according to the interlocutor of the news agency, the requirement of two weeks of isolation for citizens arriving from other regions continues to operate in the Kemerovo region.

At the same time, this condition does not apply to passengers on flights from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Anapa, Simferopol and Sochi.

As of August 13, a total of 4830 COVID-19 diseases were recorded in Kuzbass, 35 people died.

The work of shopping and entertainment centers, fitness clubs and kindergartens in the Kemerovo Region resumed in early June.
