A resident of Kiev was detained when she tried to burn human remains in the forest. This was announced on Thursday, August 6, by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.
In the forest of Troyeshchyna, a woman was noticed by district officers on Wednesday, August 5. The woman was sitting next to the fire and intended to burn some suspicious objects. Upon inspection, it turned out that these were human remains.
Specialists of the investigative-operational group arrived at the scene. The police were able to establish the identity of the man who owned the remains, as well as his place of residence. It was established that the 39-year-old deceased was a resident of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Other parts of his body were found in his apartment. Interviews with neighbors showed that he knew a woman who was found in a forest belt with his remains.
The woman from Kiev was detained, in her apartment on Bereznyakovskaya Street, the head and body of a man were found, they were lying in the refrigerator, and internal organs were also found in the freezer.
As the TV channel “360” notes, the woman was in an inadequate state and could not explain her actions. The operatives found out that she came to Ukraine several years ago from another state.
A criminal case was initiated on premeditated murder. The investigation considers several motives, among which – selfish motives. Presumably, the foreign woman could have dealt with the landlord in order to appropriate the living space. The suspect faces up to 15 years in prison. On July 31, a resident of St. Petersburg Marina Kohal was charged with the murder and dismemberment of the husband of rapper Andy Cartwright (Alexander Yushko). Fragments of a man’s body were found in an apartment on Nevsky Prospect. According to the investigation, during the quarrel, the suspect killed him in an unidentified way, and then dismembered the corpse in order to further destroy the evidence.
