The police of Ingushetia began an investigation into the death of a man who was blown up while searching for scrap metal, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region reported on Thursday, March 4.
The incident took place in a field located 100 meters from the Achaluki – Plievo highway.
“A resident of Sunzha, born in 1987, presumably carried out (with the help of a metal detector) a search for scrap metal, an unidentified device exploded,” the agency said in Instagram on Thursday, March 4.
As a result of the explosion, the man died of his bodily injuries in the Sunzha district hospital. This fact is being checked.
Earlier, on February 25, it was reported that three people were killed in an explosion at the Stars Ergng company in Singapore. Preliminary investigation showed that the explosion was caused by the accumulation of starch in an enclosed space, and then its contact with a source of ignition.
