Law enforcement officers detained three people after an attack on a police officer in Rambouillet near Paris.
According to the BFMTV television channel, the detainees are linked to the attacker. French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanen ordered to strengthen security measures in front of all police stations and gendarmerie.
We will remind, on April 23, a man attacked a police officer in the building of the commissariat, stabbing her, as a result of which she died some time later. The attacker was wounded by law enforcement officers while trying to arrest him, after which he died.
According to the TV channel, during the attack, the attacker shouted Islamic slogans. The channel’s sources also claim that the attacker was a citizen of Tunisia and arrived in France in 2009.
French President Emmanuel Macron said that the republic will continue to fight terrorism.
