In Belarus, more than 200 protocols were drawn up in relation to minors

The law enforcement agencies of Belarus have drawn up more than 200 reports on administrative offenses of minors for participation in unauthorized actions. On Friday, September 11, the state agency BelTA writes about this with reference to the Deputy Prosecutor General of the republic Alexei Stuk.

According to him, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Belarus is initiating an increase in the responsibility of parents for the illegal behavior of children.

Earlier on the same day, it became known that the Investigative Committee of the republic opened a criminal case on the fact of violations of public order during a rally in the central part of Minsk on 6 September.

The case was initiated under Article 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic “Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them.” Four citizens between the ages of 18 and 32 became suspects in this crime.

Mass protests have not subsided in Belarus after the presidential elections were held in the country on August 9. According to the CEC, the current head of state, Alexander Lukashenko, won the elections.

The Belarusians who disagreed with the voting results took to the streets of cities, there were clashes with security officials, there are victims on both sides. Rallies were also held in support of the president.

In the course of unauthorized actions, law enforcement officers detained people who violated public order. In the first days of the protests, more than 6,700 people were detained.
