Hundreds of representatives of the Black Lives Matter movement have begun marching through the streets of New York, the RIA Novosti correspondent informs.

So in Brooklyn, on the roadway from the Barclay Center arena, a column of several hundred people is moving with flags and banners. Police officers do not interfere with the process, accompanying the demonstrators.

Demonstrators shout slogans and chants for depriving the police of funding. “What do we want ?! Justice! You cannot stop the revolution! Whose streets? Our streets! ”, – chant the audience.

Recall that a jury in a Minneapolis court on Tuesday decided to find ex-policeman Derek Chauvin guilty in the case of the murder of African American George Floyd. Chauvin was found guilty on all three counts. He can receive up to 40 years in prison.
