In the Volgograd region, more than 114 thousand square meters of housing are being built under the new housing construction financing system.
By the end of August this year, the first house in the region will be commissioned using escrow accounts.
According to the press service of the Volgograd region administration, now with the use of the new financing system, six construction organizations are already operating in the region.
It is noted that the new financing system makes it possible to significantly reduce the risks in shared construction: if the equity holders’ agreement is terminated, the money is returned to the credit institution or to the participant in shared construction.
– The new mechanism was introduced in the framework of the federal project “Mortgage” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, – commented in the regional administration.
We add that systematic comprehensive work is being carried out in the region to protect the rights of participants in shared construction. Over the past six years, thanks to the joint efforts of the authorities, law enforcement officers and bona fide developers, it was possible to resolve issues on 73 problem objects. As a result, the rights of 6.5 thousand equity holders were restored. The head of the Volgograd region, Andrei Bocharov, personally controls each such issue.
