The Romanian company Dacia, part of Groupe Renault, presented on September 29 the new Logan, Sandero, and the Sandero Stepway version.

The models are based on the modular platform CMF-B of the Renault-Nissan alliance, on which the Renault Clio hatchback, Renault Captur and Nissan Juke crossovers for the European market are also built.

From its predecessor, the new Sandero, like the Logan sedan, can be distinguished by a more sloping windshield, new front LED optics, and a modified radiator grille.

Cars can be equipped with a blind spot warning system, parking assist, a multimedia system with an eight-inch touchscreen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

As additional options, customers will be offered climate control, keyless entry, an electric parking brake, a rear view camera, and heated front seats.

The engine lineup includes three gasoline units with a capacity of 65, 100 and 130 hp. Also, the cars received two turbodiesels with a capacity of 90 and 115 hp.

On August 7, it was reported that Renault is testing a new Duster crossover in Russia.
