As of Monday, August 24, 233,575 cases of infection have been recorded in the country since the start of the collection of official statistical information on coronavirus. The total number of deaths from Covid-19 to date is 9,272. In intensive care units, 241 people are being treated with Covid-19. There are 208,200 confirmed cases of complete cure from coronavirus. The R value in 4 days is about 1.08.
According to the Intensive Care Register, 241 people are currently being treated for Covid-19 in intensive care units. This represents 0.81 percent of the more than 30,000 intensive care beds in Germany. About 9,000 beds in intensive care units are currently in reserve.
