Most of the returning travelers testing positive for coronavirus at Frankfurt Airport came from Kosovo. This follows from statistics from the company Centogene, which offers corona tests at Frankfurt Airport.

Figures refer to the period from July 15 to September 8. At least 350 people from all countries included in the assessment were tested. Overall, less than 1 percent (0.85%) of the 104,177 people tested tested positive.

The so-called level of positivity was highest among arrivals from Kosovo – 6.38 percent. This is followed by Malta (4.71%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (3.17%), Hungary (2.57%), Croatia (2.31%) and Albania (2.14%). At the bottom of the list is Spain with 0.30 percent, followed by the United States (0.28%), the United Kingdom (0.21%), Israel (0.16%) and Portugal (0.09%).

Travelers who arrived from Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates tested negative for the test.
