A gas explosion in a residential building in Yaroslavl damaged 12 apartments, six of them were completely destroyed. This was reported to TASS on Saturday, August 22, by the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

“As a result of the incident, 12 apartments were damaged: six apartments were completely destroyed, six were partially. They registered 33 people, including nine children, of whom 19 people were in the house at the time of the explosion, including one child, ”the agency quoted the interlocutor as saying.

Earlier, on Saturday, it was reported that after the explosion there are 35 people in the temporary accommodation center (TAP), including eight children.

A gas explosion occurred in a 10-storey building on Batov Street on Friday evening. After the explosion, a fire broke out and was liquidated. The main version is a gas leak. As a result of the incident, the ceilings of several floors collapsed.

The accident killed three people, including a child.

A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of the incident, an emergency regime has been declared in the city.
