The work of a polling station in Frankfurt am Main in Germany, where the presidential elections in Moldova are being held, have been blocked after reports of mining. This was reported on Sunday, November 15, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova.

The second round of presidential elections began in Moldova on November 15. On the territory of the republic, 2004 polling stations were opened, and 139 more polling stations in 26 countries. Sites in Moldova will work until 21:00 (22:00 Moscow time).
Earlier it became known that the presidential candidate Maya Sandu and the current president of the republic, Igor Dodon, who is running for a second term, have already voted in the elections.
The first round of presidential elections in Moldova was held on November 1, but none of the candidates scored the required threshold of 50% and one vote, so the second round is taking place on November 15 in the country. Voters this time vote for the two leading candidates. In the first round, Sandu won 36.16% of the vote, Dodon – 32.61%. The winner will be the candidate who receives more than half of the votes, there is no turnout threshold.
