John Geddert, coach of the US gymnastics team at the 2012 Olympics, has been charged with sexual assault and human trafficking in the gymnastics club he founded in Michigan, the state justice announced on Thursday from the northern United States.

The ex-coach, 63, is accused of physical, verbal and sexual abuse of his victims for several years at his club where Larry Nassar, the ex-doctor of the American gymnastics team sentenced to life for multiple sexual abuse, worked as a doctor, Michigan prosecutor Dana Nessel added.
