On Monday, November 9, additional restrictions will be introduced in St. Petersburg. This is the reaction of the authorities to the spread of coronavirus and the rapid increase in the number of cases. Restrictions will affect the operation of food courts, children’s rooms, weddings, public events and clubs.
Let’s go through each item.
► Food courts and food places… They will be closed until November 29, at least. The ban will not affect only catering points at train stations, at the airport and at gas stations
► Children’s playrooms in the shopping center and shopping mall… Closed until at least November 29th. Children’s playrooms in catering areas will continue to work for now, however, if their area is not more than 50 sq. M.
► Restaurants, cafes, bistros, canteens and other catering establishments. The previously introduced restriction on their working hours (a ban on work from 23.00 to 6.00) remains until November 29.
► Public events. Events with more than 70 participants are partially prohibited. The ban is imposed on events “in buildings, structures, structures and premises located in them”. At the same time, the restrictions do not apply to events held “in the premises of cultural organizations and physical culture and sports organizations.”
► Weddings… Solemn registration of marriage is still allowed. But in the room, not counting the registry office, there should be no more than 20 people. That is, the spouses and 18 guests, counting the photographer and videographer (if they are invited, and not regular employees of the registry office).
► State organizations of additional education… They are sections and circles. Full-time activities of these organizations are prohibited until December 27. They can provide additional education services only remotely.
