In the city of Sevastopol, the Ministry of Emergency Situations successfully carried out an operation to neutralize several explosive objects that were found on the Mekenziev mountains in the immediate vicinity of the solid waste landfill. The press service of the department told the journalists about this.
So, the message specifies that several explosive finds were discovered at once: two German aerial bombs, one of which weighed 250 kilograms, as well as a hand grenade.
Specialists of the department, having examined the ammunition, decided to transport them. Explosive items that have survived since the Second World War were transported by a special vehicle to a safe place, where they will later be destroyed.
The operation involved five personnel, as well as two special vehicles.
