The Expert Center of the All-Russian Union of Consumers “Roskontrol” investigated bottled drinking water of popular brands and named the best ones sold in Russia. The results of the corresponding study were published on the organization’s website on Tuesday, August 18.
The products of the brands Societe Minerale Original, Pilgrim, Chernogolovskaya, Shishkin Les and FrutoNyanya participated in the testing.
The security check revealed no violations. However, only FrutoNyanya’s products turned out to be water of the highest category, intended for baby food.
In the water “Shishkin Les” and Societe Minerale Original found a small amount of fluorine – this is a plus for this product. As a result, all tested samples were recommended for purchase.
Earlier, on July 30, Roskontrol spoke about products that mislead customers. The list includes peanuts, Korean-style asparagus, crab sticks, synthetic caviar, chocolate covered marshmallows and bananas.
For example, Korean asparagus is a froth removed from boiling soy milk. Marshmallow in chocolate covered with confectionery glaze based on cocoa butter substitutes.
Roskontrol is a private organization that does not belong to the state quality control system. Earlier Izvestia wrote that manufacturers periodically take an interest in the methods of product assessment used in the company. Businessmen complain that they are periodically offered to conduct repeated examinations for money. They also talk about problems with protecting their reputation in court, since the organization includes many legal entities.
