In October last year, the mayor’s office received a document – the conclusion of the Department of State Housing Supervision on the non-compliance with the established requirements of the residential premises of the apartment building 132b on Vodoprovodnaya Street. The building was built in 1954, with stove heating, without water, sewerage and gas. There is no lighting in the yard.
According to the conclusion of the department, within 30 days, the question of the suitability of the building for living was to be brought up at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission under the city administration. However, the commission did not discuss this issue.
A resident of the house complained to the city prosecutor’s office. She carried out an inspection and initiated an administrative offense case against the chairman of the commission – the deputy mayor for violating the order and rules for recognizing a dwelling as unfit for living.
