Defenders of the Fatherland have been counted in the Kaluga region

Kaluga Region is preparing to celebrate Defender of the Fatherland Day. On this occasion, on Friday, February 19, the regional branch of the PFR presented interesting statistics.
It turns out that now more than 18 thousand Kaluga veterans and combatants receive payments from the department.

Pensions through the PFR are received in the Kaluga region by 220 participants of the Great Patriotic War, 246 invalids due to military trauma and 33 holders of the sign “Resident of the besieged Leningrad”.

Additional material support is paid every month to 5666 residents of Kaluga. These are former prisoners of concentration camps, widows of veterans, disabled people who were injured in the war, etc.

In addition, payments from the PFR are made to more than 10 thousand residents of the Kaluga region who served in “hot” spots: in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Chechnya.

Finally, 7351 pensioners through various law enforcement agencies with seniority in civilian life receive a “second” pension, which is also awarded by the PFR.
