Deadly spiders gradually began to appear in the Tatarstan forests. This was reported by the chief toxicologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Aliya Nasibullina.
Note that spiders of the “black widow” family are common in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, in Russia they could be found in the Volgograd, Rostov and Astrakhan regions. However, in recent years, they have become more common in the Volga region and in the Moscow region.
According to the specialist, last year two residents of the republic turned to hospitals with poisonous insect bites. That is, the population of poisonous spiders is spreading to the northern regions of Russia, she noted.
Most often, the “black widow” can be found in the forests while picking mushrooms and berries. “At this moment, the spider bite occurs,” concluded the toxicologist.
