SpaceX’s American manned spacecraft Crew Dragon was safely launched to the International Space Station. There are four astronauts on board. The live broadcast is on the NASA website.
At 19:27 US East Coast Time (03:27 GMT, Mon), the Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched from Cape Canaveral. The crew included NASA astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover and Shannon Walker, as well as Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Soichi Noguchi.
The launch was originally scheduled for November 14, but was canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions. The launch of the American crewed spacecraft Crew Dragon to the ISS has been postponed until November 15 due to weather conditions, NASA chief James Bridenstine said on Twitter.
“NASA and SpaceX, due to strong winds and rescue operations, are planning to launch the Crew-1 mission with astronauts to the International Space Station on Sunday, November 15, at 7:27 pm East Coast time,” the message says. Previously, the launch was scheduled for November 14 at 19:49 US East Coast time (03:49 Moscow time on November 15).
