Conflict between underground guides in St. Petersburg ends in gunfire

The press service of the GUMVD in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reported that a conflict had taken place in the city center between the organizers of illegal excursions on the roofs. During this conflict, an 18-year-old boy fired a gas pistol at a 19-year-old St. Petersburg resident, who reported the incident to the police.

The victim was hospitalized with a cheek wound, and the suspect was detained and taken to the police station. The investigation showed that both of them are engaged in conducting illegal excursions on the city roofs, and the shooting was preceded by verbal skirmish and a fight.

In relation to the shooter, an administrative protocol was drawn up under article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Petty hooliganism”. Also, both parties to the conflict can be held accountable for organizing clandestine excursions.
