Allergologist-immunologist Natalya Suzdaltseva shared with Vecherny Volgograd.ru whether an allergy can unexpectedly arise in adulthood.
There are several types of allergies:
– pollen;
– epidermal caused by pets;
– household, associated with dust;
– fungal.
An allergy cannot just appear, the specialist believes. Allergy does not apply to bacterial or viral diseases. Therefore, if a person has never had allergic reactions since childhood, the parents do not have a disease and there are no predisposing factors for this, then he will not have a true allergy.
Just like that, an allergy cannot appear at forty. Allergic reactions in adulthood are most often pseudo-allergic reactions that cause disorders of the intestinal microflora, toxic effects, disorders of the gallbladder and liver, as well as errors in the diet.
To prescribe treatment, a diagnosis is required in the form of blood sampling from a vein to determine specific antibodies.
