The authorities of Rosenheim, a city in the federal state of Bavaria, said that the rate of new infections in the past 7 days exceeded the acceptable limit. Additional restrictions on public life are being introduced in the city.
Last weekend, the number of new infections in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants was 53.7. This means that not only was the Bavarian early warning value of 35 new infections per 100,000 people exceeded, but also the threshold agreed by the federal government and the federal states.
In this regard, the city introduces more stringent restrictions on public life. They concern the holding of private and public events. Now only events with the participation of no more than 50 people can take place if they are held indoors. For events that take place on the street, there is a border of 100 people. In public places, only family members or a group of five can meet again.
