Banquets and large family celebrations have been banned in the Republic of Tuva due to COVID-19. This was announced on Monday, November 9, by the press service of the Regional Ministry of Health.

“In Tuva <...> banquets and crowded family celebrations were banned until November 28 in connection with the registration of infections during family celebrations. Such events have been suspended in canteens, snack bars, cafes, bars, café bars, banquet halls, restaurants and other places, ”the statement said.

Registration of marriage in the registry office is possible only by appointment in the presence of no more than eight people, writes Gazeta.ru.

In addition, it was decided to limit the presence of children under 17 years of age in public places unaccompanied by adults, and raids will be held in the region’s schools to verify compliance with a set of anti-epidemic measures.

Earlier, a ban on mass events until November 15 was introduced in the region. Until further notice, citizens are required to wear masks in public places and transport, reports TASS.
