In the Odessa region of Ukraine, a case of anthrax was confirmed. On Wednesday, August 12, RIA Novosti reported this with reference to the Public Health Center of the country’s Ministry of Health.

The report on suspicion of anthrax was received by the Odessa Regional Laboratory Center. In the course of the epidemiological investigation, it turned out that the patient’s temperature rose on August 3, a boil appeared on the lower leg, which turned into an ulcer. The man did not seek medical help. It is clarified that the patient is buying animals and reselling them.
