On Tuesday evening, 1,040 new cases were reported. Thus, the rate of infected in the German capital per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days was 137.2. The day before, the indicator was balancing at around 131.8.

In total, 28,063 cases of infection with the new type of coronavirus have been recorded in Berlin since the start of the pandemic. Recovered, according to the regional Ministry of Health, 19,063 people (365 more than the day before). 251 infected fell victim to the virus. Fortunately, the number of deaths has not changed over the past 24 hours. At the moment, 9.8 percent of places in intensive care units are occupied by patients with Covid-19. The day before it was 9.2 percent.

The largest number of people infected with the virus per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days live in the Berlin area of ​​Neukölln. The infection rate per week in the indicated area is 250.7. In second place is the central district of Berlin-Mitte with 215.2, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg with 193.5 and Tempelhof-Schöneberg with 160.1.
