The Russians spent three to seven days on trips in 2020. This is evidenced by the results of a study of the travel planning service OneTwoTrip, which turned out to be at the disposal of RT.
As specified, for the specified period, residents of the country bought almost a third of all air tickets. Another 28% of travelers went somewhere for 2-3 days.
22% of Russians traveled for 8-14 days, 9% flew for more than 14 days.
7% of citizens traveled for 24 hours, another 4% returned home on the same day they went on a trip.
Most often, Russians flew to Moscow – 21% of tourists chose it. Sochi took the second place (10%), the third – St. Petersburg (9%). Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Simferopol, Mineralnye Vody and other cities were also popular.
Earlier, in February, it became known that the most popular destinations for the upcoming holidays on February 23 and March 8 in Russia were Sochi, Simferopol and Mineralnye Vody. Also, travelers will go to Krasnodar and Kaliningrad.
