An apartment in the very center of Kaluga burned down. The fire occurred on Monday night, April 26, along Marata Street, the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

“On April 26, at 02:05 Moscow time, a message was received about a fire in Kaluga, on Marat Street. There was a fire in an apartment. There were no casualties,” the ministry said in a statement.

The cause of the fire has not been reported. They are to be established by the inspector of the State Fire Control. He was sent to the scene.

Fire and rescue units of the Federal Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia in the region worked on the spot. To extinguish the fire from the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the Kaluga Region, 10 people, 4 units of equipment were involved.
