Almost 200 pre-vocational training classes will open in Crimean schools

Almost 200 pre-vocational training classes will be opened in Crimean schools from the new academic year. The head of the Republican Ministry of Education Valentina Lavrik told the news agency “Kryminform” about this.

“In the new academic year, we plan to open 189 pre-professional classes in 157 schools. These are both SVE (secondary vocational education) and cooperation with higher educational institutions, ”the minister said.

According to her, students will be able to study either in the afternoon or on working Saturdays.

Similar scientific Saturdays are already being held on the basis of the laboratories of the Medical, Taurida and Agrotechnological Academies of the Vernadsky Crimean University, as well as the Physics and Technology Institute of the KFU.

In addition, within the framework of pre-professional training, Kurchatov classes with in-depth study of physics and chemistry were created. They are attended by about 500 fifth-graders. The work includes 27 educational institutions.

Earlier it was reported that in 2021 almost 7 billion rubles will be directed to educational facilities in Crimea. According to the Prime Minister of the Republic Yuri Gotsanyuk, about 923 million rubles will go to the national project “Education”. It is planned to create 48 centers “Growth point” on them, to open a technopark “Quantorium” in Simferopol, to build a school for 700 places.
