Investigators began checking after a man was fatally injured with a ballpoint pen in Rostov. This was reported on February 9 at the Investigative Directorate of the TFR in the Rostov region.
As previously reported, the patient was hospitalized with a head wound with a ballpoint pen on February 6. Despite the fact that the pen, having passed through the entire brain, did not touch the vital vessels, it was not possible to save the patient.
It turned out that the deceased man was a prisoner in the pre-trial detention center. According to DonDay.ru, he was charged with robbery. The man was prone to self-harm and was on the preventive account. A few hours before the emergency occurred, he had another breakdown.
Now investigators are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
