A tourist who fell into a gorge was hospitalized in the Perm Territory

In the Perm Territory, one of the tourists fell into a gorge. Rescuers got her, she was hospitalized with multiple fractures. This was reported by the press service of the regional security ministry on Saturday, February 13.

“Rescuers managed to get to the victim,” TASS quotes the press service.

Earlier on Saturday, the unified dispatching service 112 received a message that in the village of Usva, Chusovsky urban district, a woman born in 1982 fell through the Usva pillars while passing the tourist route into the gorge.

The rescue operation involved five employees of the Perm Regional Rescue Service and three rescuers from Chusovoy. They got to the site on snowmobiles.

“Using caving equipment and special stretchers, they took the woman to the ambulance. The injured tourist has been hospitalized with multiple fractures, ”the message says.

The agency notes that on the fact of the incident, the investigating authorities began to check.

According to preliminary data, the victim was on a tourist route as part of an unregistered tourist group from Tyumen, REN TV reports with reference to the regional GU EMERCOM of Russia.

At the end of December last year, on the eve of the New Year holidays, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reminded citizens of the need to register tourist groups 10 days before the start of the trip in order to avoid emergency situations.

The registration application must be submitted through a special online form on the official websites of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as by mail, e-mail or by phone, contacting the department at the place of the planned trip.

The agency launched on its website a single service for online registration of tour groups in April 2019.
