A terrible fire in the Tver region claimed the lives of two children and two adults

On August 9, in the Selizharovsky district of the Tver region, two adults and two children were killed in a fire in a residential building. The incident was reported at the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the Tver Region.

The fire took place on Podgornaya Street in the village of Gora, where a one-stage wooden house was located. At 23:46, officers of the PSCh-49, PSG, ambulance and police left for the scene.

Emergencies Ministry officers who arrived at the scene found that the house was completely engulfed in flames, and the flames threatened to spread to neighboring buildings. At 01:16, reinforcements were sent to the place of the fire. Several more cars later arrived. It was possible to completely eliminate the fire at closer to 02:00.

The bodies of four people were found at the scene: a 59-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman, a 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl.

Another 51-year-old woman was able to leave the burning house on her own. An ambulance brigade took her to the Selizharovskaya Central Regional Hospital. She was diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning, traumatic shock, a burn to her left arm, and cut wounds. The woman was reportedly drunk.
