A resident of Dnovsky district tried to steal a water tower and hijacked a truck. This was reported to “MK in Pskov” in the press service of the Russian MIA Administration for the Pskov region.
Residents of the village of Skugra noticed a man who was trying to cut the water tower into metal. They reported this to the police. Arrived at the scene, law enforcement officers red-handed detained the attacker – an unemployed local resident born in 1989. He was going to hand over the stolen metal to the scrap metal collection point.
To deliver the sawn tower to this point, the man hijacked a GAZ-66 truck. It turned out that the suspect also did not have a driver’s license.
Currently, all the circumstances of the incident are being established. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided.
