A man in St. Petersburg attacked a doctor who refused to vaccinate his child. This was reported on Friday, April 30, by the REN TV channel.

The incident occurred the day before in one of the clinics in the Nevsky district of the city. A mother with a child came to the appointment, but the doctor refused to use the Pentaxim vaccine against the five most dangerous diseases of children, since the little patient had no evidence and documents.

Later, the child’s father filed a complaint with the head of the department of the medical institution. He attacked the pediatrician and threw him on the windowsill, all this took place in front of the child.

Police arrived at the scene and detained the man. A criminal case was opened against him by the regional department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

It is clarified that the injured doctor received head injuries.

On April 15, the Interior Ministry reported that a group of drunken young people attacked a doctor in a hospital in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. A criminal case of beatings was opened against one of the malefactors; he faces a sentence of imprisonment for up to two years.
