A source in the authorities said that today during a hunt in a hunting farm in the Karymsky region, the head of the FSIN department for the Trans-Baikal Territory, Major General of the Internal Service Yevgeny Shikhov, was killed.
As reported by the “Chita.ru” agency, Shikhov went to hunt wild boars and came to the hunting farm with one of his acquaintances. At the same time, the watchman present at the scene, who was in a state of alcoholic intoxication, opened fire from a shotgun.
“The general died on the spot, the second person died on the way to the hospital,” the agency quoted the source as saying.
