The project is a competition for families with one parent, which, according to the organizers, should bring happiness to children.
The competition will take place in several stages. The first is to write an essay about your family. Then the participants of the competition will take part in the “Culinary duel”, present their favorite dishes. The competition will end with a presentation of the achievements of your family.
The competition was organized by the Ombudsman for the Rights of the Child in the Yaroslavl Region and the local branch of United Russia. The organizers say there will be no losers in this competition. The award ceremony will take place in the summer.
According to the children’s ombudsman, there are now 18,000 single-parent families in the Yaroslavl region, in which 27,000 children are being raised.
