Kaluga Region will receive another 20 million rubles from the federal budget for covid drugs. The medicines are intended for patients undergoing treatment for coronavirus at home, the press service of the Kaluga government reported on Monday, December 21 following a meeting of the regional operational headquarters.
“For the purchase of drugs for outpatient treatment of patients with covid from the federal budget, more than 37 million rubles have been allocated and an additional 20 million rubles. Today, 7,882 people are provided with free medications worth over 8 million rubles,” Minister of Health of the region Alan reported at the meeting Tskayev.
At present, over 37 million rubles have already been transferred to regional medical institutions. The retail pharmacy network of the region has about 30 thousand packages of antibiotics in tablet form and more than 30 thousand antibiotics for injections, 1,659 packages of anticoagulants, 12,800 packages of antiviral drugs and 595 packages of hormonal drugs.
In the Kaluga region, over the past day, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infected has increased by 170 and reached 19346 people. 18064 people have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic, 159 of them per day.
