Traffic police officers carried an elderly woman out of a burning house in Kamensk-Uralsky, according to the website of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region on December 11.

Police Senior Lieutenant Ilya Khusainov and Sergeant Alexei Tolkachev were patrolling the territory of the Chasovoy village when they noticed bright flashes. The police drove up to the place and saw a burning private house.

Law enforcers immediately reported the incident to the duty unit and ran to the burning building, from which cries for help were heard.

“Ilya Khusainov climbed through the open window into the house, which was already enveloped in a veil of smoke emanating from the burning door. The policeman helped the elderly woman who was inside to quickly get ready – to take documents and warm clothes. Through the window the inspector passed the pensioner to his partner who was outside, ”it was reported.

Rescuers who arrived extinguished the fire, and doctors examined the woman. The grandson of the mistress of the house, who arrived at the scene, thanked the traffic police for saving the grandmother.

On December 9, it was reported that a climber from Novosibirsk, together with a group on Elbrus, saved a tourist who lost consciousness on the slope.
