In the Pskov region, food products that rose in price for October 2020 were named the most. As MK in Pskov was told in Pskovstat, the overall increase in food prices over the past month was 0.8%.
According to experts, prices for granulated sugar jumped most of all – by 22.2% at once. The second and third places were taken by chicken eggs and sunflower oil (the growth in prices for these goods was 10.8% and 8.3%, respectively). More expensive than a month earlier, the residents of the region cost flour, caviar, herring fillets, fish and honey.
Meanwhile, there is some good news: some of the goods became more affordable last month. This is especially true for fruit and vegetable products – carrots and potatoes, apples and grapes, beets and cabbage. A decrease in prices for processed cheeses, as well as for dry milk formulas for baby food, was also recorded in Pskovstat.
