“On October 21, President Obama will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to campaign on behalf of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” the vice-presidential candidate, Biden’s campaign team announced Friday.
No other details have yet been provided on the event.
Pennsylvania is one of the key presidential states. Donald Trump had only won in the state by a short head in 2016.
It was in April that Barack Obama, still very popular among Democrats, officially announced his invaluable support for Joe Biden, deeming him capable of guiding Americans “through some of our darkest hours” as the country is bereaved by the coronavirus.
He also participated in an online fundraiser in June.
